Spindrift does Movember

We’re almost half way through November, and as the Autumn weather bites hard, an abundance of Clerkenwell’s menfolk can be spotted with woolly coats, chunky knit scarves and a flurry of fluff lining upper lips to keep off that chill.

That’s right, Movember has hit the ground running, and Spindrifters left and right are storming along with it, strutting their top lip toupee with pride. 12 days in, and these men have braved the incoming jibes, scorn and double takes to stand in solidarity with their fellow Mo Bros, raising awareness (and money) for prostate and testicular cancer and men’s health.

Movember aims to change the face of men’s health, breaking those old taboos by putting a fun twist on a serious issue. Using a moustache as the catalyst, the aim is to bring about change,  giving men the opportunity and confidence to learn and talk about their health more openly and making it easier to take action.

Of course, it takes cash to help those affected and to stop it happening to others, so please check out our charity pages to see our amazing Spindrift men’s progress in pictures, donate to support this fantastic cause and have a little giggle.

So fellas, take note, grow a mo if you can, support someone who is,  get yourselves checked, and talk about it.

We have 2 pages up:

https://www.justgiving.com/spindrift where you can donate directly to Prostate Cancer UK

and

http://uk.movember.com/team/1428457 where you can donate to Movember UK who will distribute to causes for men’s health, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

Watch this space to see how our fellas get on!
